Long Island stud Chris Wade greets fans at PFL 3
- Updated: June 7, 2019

Chris Wade made a surprise appearance June 6 at PFL 3 on Long Island, snapping selfies and signing autographs for his adoring hometown fans. No one had any idea that he was going to be there, let alone take the time out to shoot the breeze with fans.
Light heavyweight and heavyweight fights were the only featured attractions advertised for PFL 3. No promotional giveaways or meet-and-greets were expected. But with Wade on hand for fight night, it was a sweet surprise that absolutely delighted the Nassau Coliseum faithful.
The 31-year-old, a seven-fight UFC veteran, last competed in May at PFL 13. Since leaving the UFC, Wade has rattled off an impressive run of three wins in his five starts under the Professional Fighters League banner.
